Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you did not buy a ticket with lunch provided, we are not providing food. However, there will be food available for purchase at the hotel including a kiosk for grab and go breakfast/lunch items. Here is a link to view the map of the conference. Additionally, there are a few establishments (Starbucks, B. Restaurant & Lounge) at the hotel that will be available throughout the day to purchase food as well.

  • We have digitized the program (on SCHED) which allows for you, as a presenter, to upload your presentation and presentation materials. Here is a resource just in case you forget how to upload your presentation.

  • Participants will also be able to provide feedback (again, via SCHED) on the individual sessions they attend. This information will be shared with you within a month after the conference. Please encourage your participants to log into SCHED after your session to complete the feedback survey. 

  • We will be using #RSAC2025 throughout the event. Please share your experience with others on socials, be sure to use #RSAC2025 and tag @iarssil for further recognition!

  • Presenter check in will be located outside the ballrooms in the North Foyer on both Monday and Tuesday. Registration opens at 6:45 a.m. 

  • Please see the “Medinah” for RSAC committee assistance at any time throughout the two days.

  • Each room will be equipped with a screen, projector (HDMI), cart with power, speakers, and a table. Presenters must provide their own laptops, adaptors/dongles. We do have on-site assistance and a separate Wifi connection for the conference.

We are so excited you will be joining us. To make your experience as enjoyable as possible, we have included a few details that will help you prepare and ensure a smooth experience.

  • Location: Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center (3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook). We encourage carpooling, you can enter through the hotel main lobby or through the Conference Entrance which will take you directly to the North Foyer of the Conference.

  • Check-in for attendees with a last name (A-L) will be in the North Foyer and attendees with a last name (M-Z) will be in the South Foyer on both Monday and Tuesday. Please feel free to register any time after 6:45 a.m. The Keynote Speaker starts at 8:00.

  • Many of our Featured Speakers and Keynotes have authored or co-authored books that will be on sale at the conference for your convenience! Please note that we will not accept cash on the day of the event. 

  • If you have not logged in to SCHED to select your breakout sessions please do so ASAP to the conference. Here is a link to the SCHED platform. Each day of the event you will receive an email with your schedule, additionally you can download the SCHED app for easy access. You will use SCHED to find the location of each breakout room and schedule for the day.

  • Here is a link to the map of the hotel to help you plan and familiarize yourself with where each session is. 

  • You MUST sign in both Monday and Tuesday in order to ensure you will get your PD Hours/Credit. You will sign in by getting your name tag scanned in by one of our wonderful volunteers each morning. You will also need to sign out of the conference.  On the back of your nametag you will see a QR code for Monday and Tuesday. You need to scan the QR code to sign out, you MUST do this by December 12. On December 15, anyone who signed in AND out will receive an email with a link to your Evaluation/PD Hours for each day (7.5 hours each day).

  • In addition to the required evaluation for your PD hours we ask that you take a moment after each session or at the end of the day to complete a survey on the specific breakout sessions/keynote you attend. Not only is this great feedback for the presenters but it helps the RSAC committee secure speakers for future conferences that will best meet your needs and interests. To complete the survey after each session you will log into SCHED and click the “Feedback Survey” button

  • If you registered for a ticket with the lunch option provided, you should have received an email from [email protected] with logistics. Please ensure you go to the Marquis Tent during the lunch “hour” you selected in SCHED. Note only attendees with a lunch option ticket will be allowed in the Marquis Tent and the food may not leave the room.

    • If you did NOT buy a ticket with lunch provided, we are not providing food however, there will be food available for purchase at the hotel including a kiosk for grab and go breakfast/lunch items (here is a link to view the map of the conference). Additionally, there are a few establishments (Starbucks, B. Restaurant & Lounge) at the hotel that will be available throughout the day for you to stop in to purchase food as well.

  • Please use #RSAC2025 on your social media outlets to stay connected and share your learning/experience with others.

  • For your convenience, we will have wifi available throughout the conference.  

  • We do have a mothers room available if needed. Please see the “Medinah” room for RSAC committee assistance throughout the conference.

Additional Questions

You are more than welcome to send someone to the conference in your place. When they get to the conference, please have them pick the the name tag of the person they are attending for, and go to the room called “Medinah”. We will have volunteers there to get you a name tag with your name, to assist you with your PD hours, and to help select sessions.

Assuming you are registered, please pick up your name tag and go to the Medinah room for assistance when you get to the conference.

Yes, we would love for you to attend! Please see the Medinah room when you get to the conference and we will get you all set. Please note: lunch option tickets will not be available on-site, and we only accept credit cards for on-site registration.

You are not required to book a room at the hotel to attend the conference, but if you wish to stay the night, you can reserve a room from our block at a discounted rate by clicking here.

You will need to ensure you have signed in and out each day you attend the conference to receive PD hours. You will not receive PD hours if you leave early or arrive late.

No, only attendees who sign in and out will be awarded PD credits.

Yes, when you register, simply type 0000 if you do not have an IEIN number.

 

Refunds will be issued until November 19, 2025.  If a speaker chooses to share resources or materials, you can find those within the schedule.

Only credit card payments are accepted for in-person registration.
